Hello and welcome to the Geography Oasis website. I am a passionate Geography teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching in the United Kingdom and Internationally. All of the resources that are available on this site have been made with my own students in mind. In fact, the main reason that I started to design and share resources online was to challenge myself to do better for my own students. I use all of the resources in my own classroom and use the instant student feedback I receive (like it or not) to improve them.
The resources are focused on core geographical knowledge, skills and understandings. I do hope that they can help you in your classroom and also give you back some precious time to focus on all of your other priorities. I have quite a number of free resources so I would advise you to check them out first. Finally, in the description for each resource, there should be a link to a full preview of the product. Do have a good look at the product before purchasing; I want you and your students to find value in them.
I am currently working as Head of Humanities at an International school In Malaysia. I am incredibly fortunate to be able to work next to rainforests, coral reefs and mangrove forests. I aim to share these experiences in my blog section. Fortnightly blogs will include pieces focused on Geography teaching, leadership, and general experiences of living and travelling in south-east Asia.
If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact me below and I will try and get back to you as soon as possible.
